It is very easy to create menus in ePaper CMS and display them on the website. To create the menu, navigate to System >> Menu. You will see something like this:
Since there is already a menu here, it is visible. You can add a new menu by clicking Create New Menu.
To manage menu items within a menu, click the folder icon next to it. You will see something like this:
In this you can see that a menu item is already created. In this, select the menu item type from the top drop down and click on Create button. Now in the following dialog box, fields will be shown in front of you according to the type of menu item you have selected.
For example, if you select the menu item – “Category Archive”, then a field to select category will come in front of you. At the same time, if you select the “External Link” menu item, you will be shown the field to fill only the link.
You can also change the order of menu items by dragging them.
Now it is time to show the menu on the website. So let’s see how to do it.
You can display any menu on the website through the navigation bar widget. Click on Add Widget and choose Navigation Bar from the dropdown.
As you can see here, you can select a menu from the dropdown next to the menu field in it.
After selection, fill the remaining settings as required and click on the Save button.
Now click on Save and Publish. Your menu will become visible on the website.
